It's a sad state that Vince put Mickie James on Smackdown because she put on a 'little' weight. If that's the case, then we're in a poor state of affairs. Mickie James is a curvy woman and while it's not bad to be tiny(my girlfriend is 4'10" and skinny), she's still very much in shape.

All in all, though the Piggy James storyline came off a bit distasteful, I feel that somebody had to play the heel and Michelle McCool did a fine job. In my opinion, it addressed the current state of affairs about how women feel about their bodies...and the way Mickie James addressed the situation was, I feel, the true point of the storyline.  I mean, I loved it when she said, "Look at me!" Michelle wouldn't. Then Mickie yelled, "I said look at me! This is what a real woman looks like!" I thought it was well played.

As for WWE and TNA. Different styles for different people, though I love wrestling all around. TNA's women can headline a show or a PPV just as well as the guys and I feel that TNA can promote them with equal enthuasiasm. I mean, I find myself getting into them just as much for the storylines and not thinking, "I hope Velvet Sky shakes her ass one more time." While both promotions have women that are smoking hot,(I'll admit it as a hetero male in regards to the women of WWE and TNA, and to quote Ron Simmons...Damn.) I say let Vince have his Barbies and let TNA have their modern-day valkyries.

Honestly, I'm bored with WWE. I still watch it because I'm somewhat entertained by it, but I find a lot of the stuff still recycled. As a guy who came in during wrestling's heyday in the late 90s, I'm spoiled. I'm used to being shocked just about every night on RAW and Nitro, and I'm used to fast-paced wrestling. Nonetheless, recycled storylines or not, TNA is what I'm more entertained by. As a writer, it pains me to say this, but the storylines are secondary and I love a good match prolly more. Though, it helps get into a match by having a good, emotional storyline. In my opinion, WWE is where it's at because it truly attracts the best. It helps that they have better marketing strategies. TNA is focused more on the wrestling and WWE is focused more on the storylines. At least we all have stuff to pick from, now. It's been a long time coming since WCW fell. As for me...I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the competition.
