During the radio show RVD does he got a call from Hulk Hogan and they discussed Hulk wanting RVD to come to TNA and how TNA is much better and more fun to be in then WWE and less stressed.. Personally I am starting to feel like TNA is becoming WCW with the way things are going now.. And the people there at the moment...

Okay... I'm sure you have a valid point and I'm just saying that if TNA wants to have any pull at all, they can think of new ways to create storylines instead of using things WWE's all ready done. Like that strip poker game when they were on Monday. WWE did that. It was dumb that TNA chose to do that. It will hurt TNA in the long run, I think because people have all ready seen it.

Lol, I'm just trying to start an argument, if that's what you took it as. Unlike some, maybe even most of the people on the internet, this can be discussed by me in a rational point, and that I will agree with. But, I'm talking more along the lines of say.. a stalker storyline, if TNA were to use that, they would point out the Undertaker/Sara/DDP angle a few years back. TNA does need to come up with other things entirely if they want to do a 'theme' for the show occassionally. But, as far as I'm concerned, I'd take AJ Styles as my World Champion over Sheamus or Cena any day of the week. xD

I know you're trying to start an argument. Lol. I'm just saying what I think when I watched some of their three hour monday show in January. When they started the strip poker game, I immediately changed the channel. Granted, I am Pro-WWE, but that doesn't matter. And I was curious as to what the big hype about TNA was but then saw what I thought was bullcrap. I don't think Hogan and Bischoff are going to be good for TNA. I really do not think that at all and WWE (Vince McMahon) doesn't even see them as a threat so that has to tell them something. He's beat Bischoff before and there's a lot of people that are tired of Hogan. Hell, we have a modern day Hogan in Cena...so if people are tired of Cena, they're going to be tired of Hogan. Maybe not but I tired of Hogan. But as for the WWE's championship, there's not many people that could carry the belt. I still think Sheamus got it way too early in his career and that's going to come back and bite him or at least in the locker room. He wasn't there long enough to earn respect. Maybe I'm crazy but I love Randy as champion (biased there. Haha).

The other thing is that TNA ratings have been going up every single week with hogan in charge. Here is the other thing - that they got flair and though he says he's he's gonna be wrestling soon, he's there in a management role, same with hogan. I'd be pissed off if hogan started stepping into the ring as a wrestler, but being in the management roll, bringing back the monster abyss, anderson (thats actually his real name, kennedy was his stage name) being a heel, timeless. AJ as heel again is classic, especially taking on the roll of being the next ric flair - thats that whole angle. Flair is essentially taking him under his wing. But AJ on top is TNAs best decision. They did try to cram a lot into the 3 hour special, but once they move to monday nights, they're gonna start to kick off ppv quality impacts.
But Matt had a point with the storylines, Im sure they'll get some original stuff done but he also said, what hasnt wwe done? And thats the truth - what tna is doing essentially is taking a general storyline, using new faces and giving a bit of a twist on it to make it fresh. WWE has been around for years. I mean AWA, WWWF, WWF and then WWE. Generations of generations of material, where as tna is only like 7 or 8 years old. It started when the best era of WWF had passed. So they're going to get some name talents, but they're names, they draw views and ratings. Flair is a legend, if I could get him to be a mentor, to be backstage and help boost morale, you bet your ass I'd do it.
But when you got AJ on top, a premier young talent with tons of talent, Pope as the number one contender, they're doing what I said TNA shoulda done ages ago. Get the names to draw the people, when you get the people showcase your home talent.
"We got these guys.... BUT, we also have THESE guys." and you start to get your better ratings, etc. And thats from the pro-tna perspective.
I havent been a fan of the WWE product lately as a whole, but there have been some things I like. And in the same respect, it's WWE. Its got history clear back when Vince Sr. was in his prime. Its always going to have the production value over TNA, it's gonna have name value over TNA. It can have an entirely new roster and people will still watch it more because its WWE. It's name speaks for itself. Im a TNA fan because of the talent its got, and I enjoy the matches. But its gonna have to step up it's story telling to fight wwe, but the monday move will be the next step in that. As a fan ya gotta be open to new things. And RVD though he might be getting up there in age, he's always been in great shape. So he will be great for TNA if he goes. He seemed very interested, so one can only hope.

I'm one of those people that won't ever be a TNA fan. I don't care who signs a contract for them and who doesn't. I'm set in my ways and I'm not going to change my mind because I won't watch a second rate show (in my complete, honest opinion). Granted, I don't enjoy all of RAW on Monday nights but there are parts that I love. And with Edge just returning and going to Mania against Jericho, that's gold right there. Those two can wrestle a damned good match and I don't care if you disagree because that's MY opinion. I love Edge and I love Jericho; both of them are phenomenal wrestlers and very good at what they do. Edge has been wrestling for a long, long time; 12 years for the WWE and trained beyond that, I believe. And Jericho hasn't had an injury in his career yet, so what does that tell you? That tells you that he's careful in the ring but very good at what he does. So with Jericho vs Edge at Mania, that should be a lock right there. I'm also betting it's going to be Randy vs Ted and Cody. Anybody wanna bet me? ;D I also don't think that Hogan's a good thing for TNA. He bores me to death; always has, always will. And Bischoff is simply annoying as well and like one of my friends have said, Vince McMahon does business well. Well my friend said 'Vince McMahon is the best businessman ever.' So that's that in my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with being a WWE fan and a TNA fan. I believe those are just called WRESTLING fans. In terms of who is better? Well that's always personal preference. I prefer TNA because I find the WWE product to be stale and lackluster entirely however I do see flaws with TNA just as well. Give it three-four years. The wars will be booming.

And the fact tna has been around for what, 8 yeas now? And look where they are? When you got guys like Hogan and Flair in TNA, that is a huge morale boost for them, seeing as Hogan and Flair defined pro wretling. And while TNA may have a ton of vets, they're definitely using the younger guys more. I mean Booker got fired because he refused to put over Morgan, granted Matt Morgan sucks, but point still being. TNA is being smart now. And I love anderson as a heel. He does his job so well - I just hope with the lighter schedule he stops getting hurt so damn much.
WWE has some programs that are solid but I definitely am a fan of the newer generation thats rising up. Im definitely liking NXT.
