"It would be easier if you didn’t show up Heather but what do I know? You won’t want another loss to me but maybe the women’s title isn’t what you really want…so why even bother? I don’t like to get easy wins and I’m betting that you don’t like them either so there is a fifty-fifty chance that you’ll show. Either way, whether you show up or not, I don’t plan on losing this title any time soon but maybe it will be my time to sooner than later."
Did Serenity really expect Heather Monroe NOT to show? No she didn’t but she did expect to hear something from her but nothing yet. To be honest, Serenity hadn’t said anything either but that was about to change. She had had a lot to think about the past few weeks and her title defense wasn’t one of them…but hey she was Serenity and could do anything she wanted. Her match against Whisper didn’t turn out how she had thought it would but Whisper wouldn’t underestimate her again; she took her to the limit and back and that would never happen again. Whisper thought of herself as the dominant female in DWA but soon that would change and there wouldn’t be a thing she could do about it. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Serenity rolled over in bed as the sun streamed into the room from the open window and into her eyes. She squinted as she snuggled up against the sleeping frame of Phoenix Winterborn; poor boy she nearly killed him which would account for the clothes strewn all over the floor, the crooked curtain hanging above the window and the bed sheets that had fallen from the bed and to the floor. She wrapped an arm over his shoulders as he turned slightly to face her and kissed the tip of her nose. "Morning." "What’s so great about it?" "Just is…what’s your deal?" "Nothing…just annoyed with DWA." "Annoyed for what?"
She grumbled something under her breath as she sat up and let the sheet fall from her. She ran a hand through her hair as he rubbed her shoulder as she bit on her lower lip. She looked to be in deep concentration as she shrugged her shoulders as he kissed the back of her neck and got out of bed. "You know if I lose this match…" "You won’t lose. Your Serenity for gods sake…no one can beat you." "Well aren’t you the pep rally coach." He looked at her as she simply smiled and laughed as he rolled his eyes at her and got into the shower. She rested back against her pillow as she listened to the water running behind the closed door. She held her hand up and ran her finger over the diamond as the sunlight caught it and tossed the light up on the ceiling. The door of the bathroom opened as Phoenix stepped out and ran a hand through his hair as he sat on the bed next to her. “You still looking at that?” “Yes its pretty why?” She smiled as he kissed the top of her head and they went on about their business as their day was just beginning. Both had title matches….Serenity to defend hers and Phoenix to regain part of the tag team titles and when they both won a little more celebrating would be in store for them. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ “I don’t think we’ve met…hello I’m Serenity, the DWA Women’s champion. Please save you applause for later and you must be Heather Monroe and you are the woman I’m going to defend my title against. Now this isn’t a David versus Goliath match and hell this isn’t even a Trish Stratus versus Jazz match that’s been done over and over and over again.” Serenity was sitting in a dark room with only the light above her head and the chair she was sitting in. The women’s title sat pretty on her shoulder as she looked into the camera with a smile although she looked as if she was in a contemplating mood. Nothing had really changed for her since her win in the Triple Threat match except now she had a pretty title on her shoulder to add to a long list of them that she held before. “Whatever I’ve done in other feds doesn’t matter here so I won’t be bringing them up; its idiotic to even do that since it means shit here. However I won’t be wasting your time with saying that I’m going to win because let’s face it I’m going to so we’ve got that out of the way. Heather you seem like a challenge and I was watching your match very carefully two weeks ago so I know that you pose a threat and it would be silly to underestimate you. I haven’t seen you around much lately but everyone around here has been missing in action but the activity is soon to be picking up. I hope you don’t chicken out Heather because I look forwards to this challenge…I love a challenge…no matter who it comes from.” She smirked and ran her tongue over her lips before she reached above her and pulled the string as the light went off. The chair scooted back as her heels clicked on the floor as signs of the old and seductive Serenity came out; men AND women knew that if that side came out then it was trouble for whoever crossed her path. Sure she was engaged but that didn’t mean she didn’t know how to have fun, she had two kids but that didn’t mean she didn’t know how to have fun. This match would be fun but for who well you’ll have to wait and find out. | |
